About the program

Core Curriculum

             Founded in 1890, Siriraj Medical School is the first medical school in Thailand. Mahidol University is one of the oldest educational institutions in Thailand. Over the last one hundred and thirty years (1890-2020),Mahidol has undergone many changes and advances to promote social and goes through cultural situation from time to time. In a normal state, the health science person who works related to education should have competence in teaching and learning, curriculum, assessment,and research for developing a health science study program.

              They also should be able to deliver their expertise to the new generations as well as establish a professional person for other regions. When society faces uncommon conditions in health science, i.e., COVID-19, community needs persons with competence who are ready to take action to contribute their knowledge and skills for solving unpleasant conditions in society and help improve the situations as much as they can. This study program would be a part of contributing to strengthening health science educators who will work in a variety of regions. This program can be a part of promoting health science educators from various countries to learn from each other as well as to learn how to work with people who come from different cultures.

              Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University developed the curriculum of Master’s Degree in Health Science Education (International Program) by integrating medical education knowledge to develop the health science education professionally.It has strengths in the development of international students who want to create an international learning network or expand a professional network related to Mahidol University’s mission. This course allows students to manage their studies to adapt information technology in our flexible programs and to create expertise in the provision of education in health sciences education.
