On Wednesday, 8th April 2026, Siriraj Health science Education Excellence center, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, organized the Pearls in Medical Education workshop on “What to do, when students lose motivation and teachers experience burnout”
We were honored to have Assist. Prof. Panom Ketumarn, M.D., Advisor for student affairs, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, as the keynote speaker.
The objectives of the workshop were to raise awareness and enhance understanding of stress, burnout, and loss of motivation in learning among medical students and instructors. The workshop also aimed to provide a platform for sharing experiences, perspectives, and practical approaches to supporting students facing psychological and motivational challenges.
In addition, the program seeks to develop instructors’ skills in effectively supporting, guiding, and caring for learners in both academic and psychosocial aspects.
