On Tuesday, 17 and 24 February 2026, the Siriraj Health Science Education Excellence Center, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, organized the Upskills Workshop for Medical Students on the topic “Approach to Back Pain” for third- and fourth-year medical students from both within and outside the Faculty.
Student assessments were conducted by medical doctors and interns from the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital. Standardized Patients (SP) also participated in the workshop, portraying simulated patient cases.
The Upskills Workshop aimed to enable students to competently and accurately perform patient history taking and physical examinations, as well as to effectively communicate and provide appropriate counseling to patients and their families, while fostering positive relationships among physicians, patients, and family members.
The workshop was held at the SIMSET Center on the 10th floor of the Adulyadejvikrom Building, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital.
