Basic Medical Education Course for New Teachers
The Siriraj Health Science Education Excellence Center (SHEE), Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, in collaboration with Sirindhorn Hospital, organized the Basic Medical Education Course for New Teachers on October 28–29, 2026, at the Medical Student Activity Room, 5th Floor, Nursing Science Building, Sirindhorn Hospital.
The course aimed to enhance medical teachers’ knowledge and skills in teaching and learning through hands-on workshops covering key topics, including feedback techniques, clinical teaching, small-group teaching, learner supervision, and the design and development of assessment tools, including Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), Modified Essay Questions (MEQs), and the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
The program was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cherdsak Iramaneerat and Asst. Prof. Dr. Natthida Owatthanapanich, together with a team of resident physicians, who shared their expertise and facilitated learning activities to strengthen participants’ teaching and assessment skills, contributing to the continuous improvement of medical education quality.
