Skill training with Standardized Patients (SP) is a process where medical students have the opportunity to practice medical skills such as disease diagnosis, patient communication, and treatment planning. This is done by working with individuals specially trained to realistically portray medical conditions or scenarios. Standardized Patients play roles that align with medical students’ learning objectives, helping them practice interviewing, physical examination, and communication skills in a safe and controlled environment.
