Basic acting
What is Basic Acting?
Clinical performance skills (technical skills), such as the ability to demonstrate physical symptoms consistent with the condition of standardized patients and to provide complete and relevant medical histories aligned with the diagnosed illness, are crucial components in training simulated patients across various aspects. Additionally, communication and emotional expression skills (non-technical skills), such as effective communication, emotional expression, and appropriate physical conditions aligned with the role of the simulated patient, are essential. These skills ensure that training sessions adhere to standards and can be effectively utilized in teaching or practical examinations. The goal is to enhance the accuracy of evaluations, ultimately leading to the production of high-quality medical students and achieving the best possible outcomes.
