Teaching in health science schools is a challenging task that requires the integration of both educational science and medical knowledge, along with the art of teaching and a deep understanding of patient care. When these elements are combined effectively, it results in efficient teaching, improved student skills, and happier patients receiving high-quality medical services.
In the present era, where health science knowledge is rapidly expanding, new diseases are emerging, and advancements in diagnostics and treatments are continually evolving, along with the rapid progress of information technology, teaching has become even more challenging. Teachers must adapt and learn new approaches to deliver meaningful learning experiences. Therefore, this issue of SHEE Journal presents several interesting articles on teaching techniques in health science schools.
The team hopes that the content presented in this journal will equip educators with tools to enhance their students' abilities, foster their skills, nurture positive attitudes, and ensure they enjoy learning and working.
