SHEE Journal No. 2 2021 (Full Version)
Teaching in the clinical setting is a challenging task, as educators must develop students' ability to perform professional duties while ensuring that many aspects of learning require practice with patients, who bring with them diverse emotions and feelings. Clinical instructors need to use various teaching skills to enhance students' abilities, all while ensuring patient safety and care. Additionally, with the advancement of information technology and numerous social changes, the approach to clinical teaching must adapt to the times and remain highly effective.
In this issue of the SHEE Journal, the team has gathered numerous experts to provide guidance on teaching strategies for students, along with recurring columns on educational topics, such as the "Education Movement," which discusses the direction of clinical teaching development, and insights into conducting educational research. The team hopes that the content presented will help create a better understanding of the approaches to developing clinical teaching and lead to effective learning experiences for clinical students, ensuring that all involved parties are satisfied and benefit from the process.
