Digital technology refers to tools, devices, or systems that apply advancements in data collection, processing, analysis, and presentation to make work and life more convenient.
Currently, the COVID-19 situation in Thailand is under control, and activities are gradually returning to normal. Students are now being brought back into classrooms. However, the use of digital technology in education will not be discarded. The past situation has allowed both educators and learners to recognize the potential of digital technology. Despite some challenges in its usage, many tools should continue to be incorporated into traditional classroom settings to enhance the learning experience.
In this issue of the journal, we present various digital technologies that can support the learning of health science students. These include the use of Microsoft Teams for classroom management, educational games, virtual reality, augmented reality, and simulation technologies.
Therefore, this issue of the SHEE Journal focuses on the theme of Digital Technology in Education, discussing how these technologies can enhance the learning process in health science education.
