Back again with an article of recognition, in this issue, our team had the opportunity to interview Prof. Tawesak Tanwandee, a faculty member of the Department of Medicine, specializing in Gastroenterology. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Head of the Department of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. In addition to his extensive teaching experience and serving as a role model for medical students and internal medicine residents for over 34 years, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Taweesak is also an exemplary medical educator. He was awarded the Mahidol University Outstanding Specialist Award in the category of Medical Education for the academic year 2022, which he received on October 9, 2023.
